Curriculum
The Core CKM Curriculum
Ten modules forming the shared foundation for every Society program, adaptable for trainees, practicing clinicians, and interprofessional teams.
- Module 1 — Defining CKM syndrome and its shared pathophysiology
- Module 2 — Staging patients from stage 0 to stage 4 in practice
- Module 3 — Screening: eGFR, albuminuria, lipids, glycemia, and blood pressure
- Module 4 — Absolute risk estimation and communicating risk to patients
- Module 5 — Lifestyle and behavioral therapy that actually sticks
- Module 6 — Obesity and incretin-based therapy across the continuum
- Module 7 — Kidney protection: RAS blockade, SGLT2 inhibition, MRAs
- Module 8 — Heart failure and atherosclerotic disease in CKM patients
