Annual Rhythm

A Year in the Society

The recurring cycle of programming we are building toward.

  1. Quarter 1

    Curriculum Release & Case Rounds

New core modules published, with monthly interdisciplinary case rounds open to all members.

  2. Quarter 2

    Abstract Season & Regional Workshops

Call for abstracts opens; hands-on regional workshops focus on implementing CKM staging locally.

  3. Quarter 3

    Annual CKM Prevention Summit

The flagship convening: plenaries, debates, abstract sessions, and working-group meetings.

  4. Quarter 4

    Consensus Work & Annual Report

Working groups finalize statements; the Society publishes its annual report and outcomes.

At Our Meetings

What to Expect

Session formats designed for genuine cross-specialty exchange rather than parallel monologues.

  • Joint plenaries with a cardiologist, nephrologist, and endocrinologist on one stage
  • Case-based debates where panels commit to a plan in front of the audience
  • Rapid-fire abstract and late-breaking science sessions
  • Implementation clinics for teams bringing their own workflow problems
  • Trainee and early-career track with mentorship roundtables
  • Patient-voice sessions featuring people living with CKM syndrome
  • Code of conduct in force at every session, online and in person
  • Live captioning and recorded content for members unable to travel

FAQ

Event Questions

When will dates be announced?

Dates and venues are confirmed as faculty and partners are finalized. Subscribing to Society updates is the fastest way to hear first.

Can I submit an abstract?

Yes — an open call for abstracts accompanies each scientific meeting, with review by the scientific programme committee and awards for outstanding early-career work.

Will sessions be available online?

Core sessions are planned for hybrid delivery, with enduring recordings available to members after each meeting.

Can my organization host or sponsor an event?

Yes. Event and venue partnerships are open; all sponsorship is governed by the Society's educational independence policy.
